中国的高等职业教育历经十多年的发展已颇具规模，成就巨大。但是该领域共识性的办学理念、专业人才培养规格、院校特色建设、政府责任担当等方面都还存在不少问题。当前形势下，在办学指导思想上形成统一认识、明确界定高等职业教育的人才培养目标、建立健全职业教育发展引导和监管机制、分清政府和学校各自应该承担的职责，避免理念缺失和角色错位，是非常紧迫的任务。

China's higher vocational education has achieved greatly with a large scale through over a decade of development. However, many problems are remaining to be settled in such aspects as educational philosophy, professional training standard, the characteristic construction, governmental responsibility and so on. In the current situation, it is a very urgent task to form a unified understanding of guiding ideology, define personnel training objectives suitable for higher vocational education, establish and improve guiding and monitoring mechanism, distinguish responsibilities between the Government and schools and avoid conception missing and role dislocation.
