Focusing on the public participation, the old city style retained degrees, the contact of urban district and old city these three aspects in urban renewal, this article analyzes the problems in urban renewal and puts forward some counterme-asures. Hoping to reduce the public conflict, protect the old city feature and strengthen the connection between new and old zones, so that provide decision-making and support for urbanization process in China.
