Due to special performance, nonwoven abrasives had comprehensive applications in grinding and polishing field.The technical requirements of nonwoven abrasives were explained, and production technology of nonwoven abrasives from five aspects, including selection of fiber materials, adhesive and abrasive, nonwovens manufacturing technology, processing of nonwoven abrasives, were introduced.Relative research progress for nonwoven abrasives in decades was introduced, and development trend of follow-up research in nonwoven abrasives field was proposed.
