音乐和语言都是人类以声音作为媒介传达思想情感和信息的行为方式。文字是用来记录语言的符号，乐谱则是用来记录音乐的符号。本文论证了识谱的重要性，希望我国中、小学纠正不重视识谱教学的缺点，将识谱作为国民音乐教育的核心任务。文中也对如何教识谱提出了一些建议。

Music and language are both mediums of conveying thoughts and feelings through sound.Characters are symbols through which language is recorded whereas music scores are symbols through which music is recorded.This article demon-strates the importance of reading music scores, seeks to redress the deficiency in our primary and secondary schools of not teaching the skill of reading music and demands that it be included in the national music education program as a core mis-sion.Recommendations are also put forward to this end.
