    The basic principles and the methods of the laser profiler are analyzed in this paper.Based on the Inner Lngsheng tunnel engineering,laser profiler is used to examine initial support sections and secondary lining sections.Test results are summarized and analyzed to find the deviation of the data of the two cross-sectional profile detected.It provides experience for similar section detection of highway tunnel.
