近几年，世界范围内食品安全事故不断发生，食品安全问题在全球备受关注。我国食品安全事故也愈演愈烈，威胁群众的健康甚至生命安全，同时也引起了公安机关高度重视。近年来，各地公安机关陆续成立食品安全支队，通过严格执法，以期降低食品安全事故的发生率，还民众一个健康的饮食环境。本文浅议公安机关建立食品安全支队的必要性和意义等，以期公安机关在我国食品安全监管过程中发挥出更大作用。

In recent years, the world food safety incidents continue to occur, the global food safety issues of concern. China's food safety incidents have intensified, threatening the health and even the lives of the masses, but also caused the public se-curity organs attach great importance. In recent years, the public security organs have set up food security detachment, through strict enforcement, in order to reduce the incidence of food safety incidents, but also the people of a healthy eating environment. This paper discusses the public security organs to establish food safety necessity and significance of detach-ment, the public security organs to play a greater role in China's food safety regulatory process.
