Based on the instance of typical surface cracks of AH32 grade hull plate,Jigang arrives at a conclusion that low Ti/ N ratio is the cause of surface cracks on hull plate rolled from hot charged slab by utilizing comparison anal-ysis method. After taking a series of assurance measures from the aspects of LF refining,continuous casting and slab re-heating processes,Jigang significantly improves the surface cracks of AH32 hull plate.
