This paper describes the welding procedure qualification process of ZB - 450 type steel bridge members. The CO2 gas shiel-ded arc welding was used to weld specimen in the technology assessment process,select the type of the welding wire,determined the parameters of welding procedure qualification test piece,studied the process of using CO2 gas shielded welding medium plate of Q460C steel. The test results show the welding conditions and process parameters obtained can be made the basis of ZB450 steel welding pro-cedure specification,it provides a reference for the welding process planning in Q460C steel medium plate.
