糖尿病是严重威胁人类健康的常见病、多发病，属于中医学“消渴”范畴。传统理论认为消渴的病机为阴精亏虚、燥热偏盛，以阴虚为本，燥热为标。但随着对该病认识的深入，糖尿病的中医病机特点注入了许多新的内涵。本文对有关糖尿病的病机研究进展情况整理综述，以期拓展中医治疗消渴的思路。

Diabetes, which belongs to the category of “Xiaoke” in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM), is not noly a common and frequently-occurring disease , but also a serious disease threatening human health .In traditional theory , the deficiency of Yin and Jing , intense dryness and heat , in essence of Yin deficieny with dryness and heat as symptoms , are the pathogenesis of diabetes .Along with the deeper understanding of diabetes , the characteristics of pathogenesis in TCM has been given much new connotation .In this paper , we reviewed the study progress of the pathogenesis in TCM on diabetes , in order to expand the way to treat diabetes in TCM .
