The primary bolt of reactor pressure vessel is an important component which is easy to be damaged and need to be inspected periodically. The sketch of control system for ultrasonic inspection is introduced. The scheme of motion control and leveling control is described and control algorithm is also designed. In addition, most of the systematic control function is implemented with corresponding software. It proves that the control system greatly facilitates the ultrasonic inspection work for the primary bolt during pre-ervice and in-service inspection.
