干眼症是因泪液质或量异常或泪液动力学异常而导致泪膜稳定性下降，并伴有眼部不适和(或)眼表组织病变为特征的一类疾病的总称，又称角结膜干燥症。由于此种眼表疾病的日久损伤会造成角结膜病变从而影响视力，且发病率呈逐年上升并有年轻化的趋势，故越来越受到临床科研及临床工作的重视。
