为适应高等教育全球化趋势的需要，提高研究生专业英语能力及弥补本科教学中儿科教学内容的不足，2013年起，上海交通大学儿科学系构建儿科专业研究生双语课程体系。临床课程体系组成包括《小儿内科学基础理论及临床诊治进展》、《儿童保健学》和《小儿外科学基础理论及技术进展》。教学中教师采用全英语多媒体演示，运用一定量的英语进行授课，课程考核通过学生选题，查阅英语文献资料、英文汇报等来考察，提高了学生参与双语教学的积极性，三门课程考试成绩平均成绩均在85分以上。同时，通过课程建设，建立了实力雄厚的师资队伍、完成了教学大纲、教学课件等资料积累的工作。

To cater to the needs of globalization and to enhance professional English competence of graduate students as wel as to improve teaching content under undergraduate level on pediatrics, a set of bilingual curriculum were designed for graduate students on clinic medicine since 2013.The curriculum system was composed of Pediatric Internal Medicine-advanced basic science and clinical diagnosis and treatment, Pediatric Surgery-basic science and advanced technology and Child Health Care. Courses were taught with multi-media presentation in English and students were tested by self-chosen topics, English papers reading and English presentation, al aimed at encouraging language use both within the students and the faculty. The average scores of the above three courses are above 85 points. And thanks to strong faculty members, works are done with regard to syl abus design and teaching courseware.
