The thesis introduces wood foundation features including reusable, saving cost and reducing waste emission and so on, and puts for-ward foundation bearing capacity and base type demands according to drilling and in-situ test results of western Sichuan region. Through engi-neering examples, it points out that:applying wood foundation in western Sichuan region has achieved good economic and social benefits.
