在知识经济时代，终身教育理念越来越引起人们的重视，它的提出为教师继续教育提供了理论支撑。教师必须通过继续教育不断提高自身的素质和能力，才能胜任和搞好教育教学工作。本文从分析在终身教育理念下加强教师继续教育的必要性入手，进而提出了推进教师继续教育的有效措施。

In the era of knowledge economy, the concept of life-long education has attracted more and more attention, and its proposition has provided a theoretical support for the continuing education of teachers. Teachers must constantly improve their own qualities and abilities through continuing education, so as to be competent for education and teaching. This paper analyzes the necessity of strengthening the continuing education of teachers based on the lifelong learning concept, and then proposes effec-tive measures to promote the continuing education of teachers.
