Numerical simulation has been widely applied to predict the performance of low pressure axial flow fans. Because of the low pressure the precision of the simulation should be very careful. It is suggested by the authors according to their long-term experience that if several main problems, such as modeling, boundary condition, static pressure at fan outlet and mixed surface,can be reasonably solved, the precision and reliability of the simulation would be greatly improved.
