T he combined support scheme is to adopt many supporting forms bombing use according to the the surrounding condition ,the strata ,and different excavation depths of the foundation pit .This support scheme can give full play to the advantages of all type of support forms ,and make the design and construc-tion of foundation pit engineering more safe ,economic and reasonable .T he paper introduces the application of this combined support scheme in a foundation pit engineering in Wuhan .
