Activated carbon is widely used as electrode materials of electric adsorption due to its abundant por-ous structure and huge specific surface area. Modification methods for further improve the adsorption capacity of activated carbon is reviewed in this paper,as well as the present research situation and development trend of preparation of carbon electrode.
