山西鹳雀楼，是唐人登高赏会、吟咏寄情的名胜。今存九首鹳雀楼诗歌，分属盛唐、中唐、晚唐三个时期，诗歌气象与情感基调随着时代的盛衰而变化。诗歌背后的诗心，折射了一个王朝的命运。盛唐鹳雀楼诗反映出无限理想中饱满激荡的力量；中唐鹳雀楼诗透出盛衰之变中无法承受的感伤；晚唐鹳雀楼诗反映的是残山剩水中无所适从的幻灭。
