Recently with the high development of national economy in China,all kinds of organic solvents were widely used in industrial production,and the emission of organic exhaust also increased year by year. This not only cause environmental pollution but also bring the waste of resources. Organic vapor recovery had three benefits on environment,health and economy. The harmfulness,recycling significance and common recovery methods of organic solvents were introduced and solvents recovery via activated carbon was mainly presented. Taking the most common gasoline,acetone and butanone recovery as examples,the research progress on activated carbon used in solvents recovery was presented.
