对外汉语教学素材库是用来存放对外汉语教学文本素材、图形/图像素材、音频素材、视频素材、动画素材等五类素材的总库。教师可以从总库中选取素材，重组出自己所需要的教材或者课件，作为配合课堂教学使用的教学资源。对外汉语教学素材库的建设需要建立在建构主义、第二语言习得、人本主义、格式塔等理论依据的基础上，SQL server、Flash、ASP.NET等技术可作为其实现工具。
