The development of nanometer materials, which possessed the unique physical and chemical properties, would take a new opportunity for the investigation of subjects such as chemistry, materials, biology and pharmaceutical etc. The properties, preparation technologies and applications were summarized in this paper which would provided a useful guidance for future studies.
