Chinese ceramics has a long history,but research on the English translation of the promotions for Chinese ce-ramics has not made much progress. To promote the Chinese culture of ceramics to the world,translators should make cultural transmission and communication as the purpose of translation. And to fulfill it,some proper translation methods should be adopt-ed.
