The paper describes mainly the problems that are found out during the commissioning of 1420 mm 5-stand Tandem Cold Mill Line and have negative effect on the quality and efficiency of the production, such as scratched edges caused by the running-off of strips in looper, staggered coil wraps and abnormal vibration when the mill operates at high speed. The paper studies the cause of those problems and puts forward a final solution.
