图书馆学研究有学科研究、问题研究两种取向,目前,以学科意识为主,而学科意识具有思维僵化、不重视活生生的现实、易造成一些重要问题和领域遗漏等局限性。这极大地制约了图书馆发展,成为了我国图书馆学研究的障碍,到了非解决不可的地步了。二者既有异同,又相互联系、统一互补,学科意识中有问题,问题意识中有学科。应以问题意识为主,以学科意识为辅。图书馆学研究应从“学科意识”转向“问题意识”。

Research in library science includes two kinds of orientatiion awareness and issue awareness. At present, the focus is on the former. However, the subject awareness has some limits, such as its rigidity of thinking, ignoring the reality and causing important problems and ifelds of omission. All of these restrict the development of library, and impede the research in library science, so it has to be treated. There are both difference and same between subject awareness and issue awareness. The issue awareness should be the focus, and the subject awareness should be auxiliary. Research in library science should be changed from “subject awareness” to “issue awareness”.
