广西少数民族聚居区内民俗民间拥有十分丰富而独特的“乡土民间体育”，且具有民族特色。“乡土民间体育”在弘扬民族体育文化、促进社会发展的同时，在发展与传承上也面临着一系列的问题。通过分析广西少数民族“乡土民间体育”项目的种类和文化的内涵以及特征，对广西少数民族“乡土民间体育”文化传承困境进行了探讨，并提出广西少数民族“乡土民间体育”文化的发展之路。对推动广西少数民族传统体育文化的研究和促进西部民族经济的发展具有重要的现实意义。

There are rich and unique“local folk sports”in Guangxi ethnic groups ’ neighborhood. such sports,however,are facing various challenges in development and cultural continuity while they are indeed playing important roles in promoting the national minority sports culture and accelerating social development. Therefore,this paper has conducted an analysis of the local folk sports types,their cultural connotations and characteristics,discussed the challenges in preserving the cultural continuity, and put forward some constructive suggestions on their development paths. The authors believe that such efforts are of necessity to deepen the studies on the local folk sports in Guangxi and to promote the economic development in the ethnic groups’neighborhoods in west China.
