Nanya Bridge is across NanYa Channel of Dongguan Waterway,with 6# ~ 10# piers in deep water. How to carry out the construction of bearing platforms efficiently and safely is one of the difficulties of this pro-ject. In this paper,construction technology of erection of steel box cofferdam for deep water bearing platform,a kind of both simple and economical construction technology,has been introduced,which has successfully solved the problems.
