For a long time, the generator assembly was based upon 2D drawings to plan and design the process, the assembly sequence of components relied on the personal experience, lacking of the effective means of pre-veriifca-tion. The 3D process simulation technology based on the deifned model was applied into the dynamic simulation of the assembly of generator design, effectively improving the technological quality, reducing the processing cost and shortening the development cycle.
