The high-speed steel W9Mo3Cr4V was ap-plied to manufacture the high-speed progressive dies mold. After improving the technological parameters and optimiz-ing the quenching and tempering temperature and period of time, a stable marten site structure was gained with the great surface hardness and low surface roughness, resulting in the 40%decreasing of heat treatment time and over 35%saving of the electric energy.
