束流管位于北京谱仪Ⅲ(BES Ⅲ)中心位置,是最小壁厚为0.6 mm的真空薄壁夹层圆管。新一代北京正负电子对撞机(BEPC Ⅱ)在运行时将会有更多的高次模辐射(HOM )和同步辐射(SR)热负荷作用于束流管的内表面,使束流管内产生辐射热应力。本文从数值模拟和实验两方面对BES Ⅲ束流管应力场进行研究,结果表明,束流管在一端完全固支一端轴向自由的约束条件下,当内部辐射热负荷达到最大值750 W时,束流管各零部件---铍管、铝放大腔、过渡银环、铜管、不锈钢法兰的最大应力分别为21.9、6.9、5.0、9.1、24.4 M Pa ,束流管整体安全系数为11.0。目前束流管正在安全运行,保证了BEPC Ⅱ的正常工作和BES Ⅲ的精确粒子探测。

The beam pipe is located in the center of the Beijing Spectrometer Ⅲ (BES Ⅲ) .It is a vacuum sandwich pipe with the thinnest wall thickness of 0.6 mm .During the opera-tion of the new generation Beijing Electron and Positron Collider (BEPC Ⅱ) ,the inner surface of the beam pipe is subjected to high radiation heat loads of high order mode radiation (HOM ) and synchrotron radiation (SR) ,w hich will lead to the generation of the thermal stress .Hence ,a beam pipe with cooling structure was designed ,and stress fields of the beam pipe were studied by experiment and finite-element simulations .When the beam pipe was installed that one end was fixed completely and the other end was free along the axis ,and the thermal load on the inner surface of the beam pipe reached itsmaximum value of 750 W ,the results show that the maximum stress of the beryllium pipe ,aluminum enlarged cavity ,silver transition tube ,copper tube and stainless steel flange are 21.9、6.9、5.0、9.1、24.4 M Pa respectively .T he safety factor of the beam pipe is 11.0 .At present ,the BES Ⅲ beam pipe is operating safely ,thereby ensuring that BEPC Ⅱ operates normally and that BES Ⅲ detects particles accurately .
