Low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) technology is a small-amplitude differential signaling technology, which reduces the power supply voltage and logic voltage swings,effectively improve data transmission rate,and brings a new life for the high-speed digital system. The basic principle and application fields of LVDS technology are elaborated in this paper. The available application methods of LVDS technology are summarized. The application prospect of LVDS technology is de-scribed briefly.
