本文研究了目的论的产生和引起的争议，阐述了作者自己的观点。本文引用了众多翻译理论家的争议和辩护，把目的论客观地呈现。批判也引起笔者对翻译理论存在意义的思考。最后得出结论，翻译理论是描述性的，而非规定性的。它描述译者在翻译中采取的方法，而不是给后人设立条条框框。译者应在众多翻译理论中博采众长，达到最好的翻译效果。

This paper studies the teleological generate controversy and caused describes the author's own point of view. This article refers to the controversy and defended numerous translation theorists, the teleological objectively presented. The auth-or also attracted criticism reflections on meaning of translation theory existence. Finally concluded, translation theory is de-scriptive, not prescriptive. It describes the approach taken by the translator in the translation, but not for posterity established outside the box. The translator should translate the many theories absorbing, to achieve the best translation effects.
