太原街地区曾是东北地区最繁华、最具活力的商业中心，随着经济社会的发展及其他商圈的崛起，曾经的区域交通优势、综合环境优势已不再明显，整体效率在下降，人车拥堵矛盾突出，迫切需要制定地区交通改善规划。研究在对太原街地区的交通现状及存在问题进行深入剖析的基础上，提出相应的交通改善策略，包括综合治理各级道路、疏解跨区交通、强化交通管理和建立舒适步行系统等，以期推动太原街地区的复兴与繁荣。

Taiyuan Street used to be the most prosperous and energetic business center in Northeast China. However, as the country’s economy develops and other domestic business centers rise, Taiyuan Street is losing its advantages in both local transportation and environment of doing business. Its overal efifciency has been dropping as the trafifc congestion of customers and vehicles becoming more and more serious. Therefore, it is urgent to improve the trafifc situation in Taiyuan Street area. This paper gives a deep analyze on the trafifc situation and problems, and proposes the strategies like comprehensive treatment the roads, deifbering the trans-regional trafifc, strong the trafifc management and construct the pedestrian system. These strategies wil help to Taiyuan street development.
