In the level C overhauling of the No .4 generator set in Shuibuya hydropower station in 2013 , the problem of excessive swinging of the bottom guide is treated by adjusting the gap between the guide shoes .The causes for the exces-sive swinging are analyzed and the treatment procedure is presented .
