在米波雷达低仰角测高中,由于直达波和相干多径信号都在天线波束的主瓣之内,导致测高精度低。约束 MUSIC 算法利用已知的信源方向来提高未知信源估计精度,而且不受信源相干的影响。将该算法应用于米波雷达低仰角测高中,将多径信号作为约束来提高直达波的估计精度,提出一种广义约束 MUSIC 算法,并结合雷达测高的特点对其进行改进,计算机仿真结果证实改进算法在保持良好性能的同时能降低运算量。

The multi-path signal and the direct signal, lying within a beamwidth of the receiving antenna, are highly correlated, which cause badly effect to the performance of low-angle altitude measurement for very high frequency ( VHF) radar. Constrained MUSIC improves the estimation precision of unknown source directions by incorporating the prior known source directions. A generalized constrained MUSIC was proposed, which was modified in terms of the low-angle environment of VHF radar. It improved the estimation precision of direct signal with multi-path signal as a constraint. According to the characteristic of altitude measurement, some improvement was made on the proposed algorithm. Simulation results demonstrated that the proposed methods could reduce computation complexity and get good performances.
