用粉煤灰做吸附剂，用苯酚溶液作为废水样品，用KMnO4法测量COD，实验结果表明，粉煤灰对于降低水中COD有着快速而且明显的效果。
용분매회주흡부제，용분분용액작위폐수양품，용KMnO4법측량COD，실험결과표명，분매회대우강저수중COD유착쾌속이차명현적효과。
Flyash was absorbent to absorb COD in the water sample of phenol.The water sample was tested using KMnO4 method as well in order to examine the content of COD.The results showed that flyash indicated a quick and effective absorption of COD in the water sample.
