Ophthalmology is one of the required courses of clinical medicine students .The article intro-duced a teaching method of “Four One” which was a integration and summary of series of advanced teaching meth-ods in ophthalmology teaching .The method transmitted the traditional spoon -fed indoctrination mode to a heuristic teaching mode , which allowed the students participate completely into the study and triggered the activity and inno-vation of students , and improved the teaching quality .
