‘泉花551’系泉州市农科所以‘泉花7号’为母本，‘粤油13’为父本通过有性杂交途径选育而成的花生新品种。经国家南方片区花生区试、长江流域花生区试、福建省花生片区试及辽宁省花生备案试验鉴定，‘泉花551’具有丰产性好、品质优、抗病性强、适应性广等特点。该品种2013年通过国家品种鉴定（国品鉴花生2013014）、福建省品种认定（闽认油2013001）和辽宁省花生备案。
‘천화551’계천주시농과소이‘천화7호’위모본，‘월유13’위부본통과유성잡교도경선육이성적화생신품충。경국가남방편구화생구시、장강류역화생구시、복건성화생편구시급요녕성화생비안시험감정，‘천화551’구유봉산성호、품질우、항병성강、괄응성엄등특점。해품충2013년통과국가품충감정（국품감화생2013014）、복건성품충인정（민인유2013001）화요녕성화생비안。
A new peanut variety ‘Quanhua 551’ ,was bred by crossing ‘Quanhua 7’ and‘Yueyou 13’ at Quanzhou Institute of Agricultural Sciences . It showed excellent characteristics of high pod yield , good quality , high resistance ,and wide adaptability .It was released in 2013 by the National Agro-tech Extension and Service Center in Fujian and Liaoning Provincial Crops Approval Committee .
