This paper introduces the concept and development history of human factors engineering (HFE), analyzes the application of HFE in clinical medicine, and points out that while HFE theory is employed in medical service management, the overall efifciency of human-machine-environment system should be considered to obtain satisfactory results and improve work efifciency and medical safety as well as reduce the pressure and fatigue of medical staff, thus to provide more convenient, efficient and high quality health care services for patients.
