With the rapid development of power industry and the capacity of China’s power increased,service power relay protection system design is directly related to the safe operation of plant equipment, then become the key link of impacting the safe and stable operation of power plants. Based on the engineering practice in the past,in view of the large hydropower plant, expounds some personal views of service power system protection scheme and setting calculation of related issues.
