明清时期武术从业者群体的社会活动特点是该时期武术发展特点的历史观照。运用社会学的视角，采用文献资料等方法，对明清时期不同武术从业者群体的社会活动进行分析，探究该时期武术的发展特征。结论如下：（1）在“中央高度集权”的明清时期，武术从业者群体的社会活动呈现“安全服务与文化创新”的总体特征，该时期的武术发展最具文化创新性与社会影响力。（2）军旅武术家、镖师和民间拳师等群体的社会活动对武术发展产生重要影响。（3）其群体的社会地位普遍低下。

The characteristics of the social activities of Wushu practitioners in the Ming and Qing dynasties reflected the history of Wushu development .From perspective of sociological ,the authors analyzed characteristics of Wushu develop-ment at different periods of time through the Wushu activities .It could be seen that "security service and cultural innova-tion"were mainly focused among the Wushu practitioners .In the highly centralized Ming and Qing dynasties ,Wushu was more innovative and influential than in other dynasties . Moreover , the social activities of groups of practitioners of Wushu ,such as military martial artist ,caravan guards and boxers had a significant impact on Wushu development .How-ever ,the social status of Wushu practitioners was low on the whole .
