该文认为随着新媒体、新技术的迅猛发展,在CALL环境下,对语言性信息进行不同的视觉设计,其阅听效用程度是不同的,根据双重编码理论和多媒体学习认知理论,对语言性信息的接受理解是具有模态特定性,不同表征模态间的搭配是具有优势组合效应的。该文采用文献研究法,系统地搜集研究对象的相关材料,进行分析、综合、比较、归纳,以期为多媒体外语教学、多模态外语学习提供参考。

The article explicates the differences of various visual designs of verbal information in the effectiveness of listening comprehension in CALL. Based on dual coding theory and cognitive theory of multimedia learning, the modality specific effect lies in the understanding of verbal information as well as the combination of advantage lies in multimodal representations., by comprehensive use of methods of documentary evidence, the article has collected a great deal of relative literature which has been contrasted, analyzed, and synthesized in order to achieve a regular recognition and provide a theoretical guidance and practical op-erating basis for multimedia EFL teaching and multi-modal foreign language learning.
