学前教育专业高职学生的培养是为幼教事业输送人才,然而学生自身文化素质相对较低,专业化程度高,因而学生容易忽视英语学习的重要性。通过教师在教学过程中对学生进行元认知策略的指导,帮助学生熟悉自我监督、自我调整的方法,提高英语学习兴趣、提升记忆效果、理解效果,培养学生进行自主学习,形成终身学习的能力。

Vocational college students majoring in Pre-school Education, intended for Pre-school teaching post, maintain rela-tively low cultural knowledge level, and high demands for professional knowledge. Thus, they tend to neglect the importance of English study. Through teacher’s instruction about meta-cognitive strategies during the teaching process, the students get famil-iarized with self-monitoring and self-adjustment method, promote their interest in English learning, effect of memorization and comprehension, help the students to carry out self-directed study, and formulate life-long education ability.
