Western Economics is the basic and core course for the economics and management specialty. Based on the characteris-tics of western economics,the study believes that there are some problems in curriculum construction,teachers' teaching and student's learning in finance and economics universities' teaching practice. Accordingly,we must carry out the teaching reform to optimize the course construction and improve the teaching effect.
