It is concluded from exergy analysis that there is enormous recoverable pressure energy in pressure adjusting process of high pressure natural gas. The pressure energy recovered from natural gas by the expander in gas regulator station can be used in natural gas liquefaction, in order to increase the economy of the network operation. In this paper, several domestic and abroad natural gas liquefaction processes were introduced, and their liquefaction methods and features were described and analyzed.
