In this paper, the principle and technological process of the pressure swing adsorption method were described, the selection of the adsorbent and the effect of the main operating conditions were discussed, and the social, economic and environmental benefits were analyzed. The analysis results showed that pressure swing adsorption method was the most promising technology for concentrating and separating mine ventilation air methane, the carbon materials were widely used as adsorbents in the study of the natural gas concentrations due to less influence by water while absorbing non-polar molecules methane;the half-period, the flow of pressure balance, the adsorption pressure and desorption pressure were the main operating conditions that affect on the vacuum pressure swing adsorption separation of the double-tower.
