Based on geological and mining condition of areas near the direction-changing point of returned airway beside the second mechanized surface of a certain mine,the reasons of rockburst frequently occur in this area is analyzed,which provides theoretical basis for working out pertinent burst-prevention measures for subsequent working face and ensures safe backstopping mining on working face.
