Nowadays information technology has become the engine of the knowledge-driven economy era ,it is the key factor motivating the development of enterprises which makes the informatization level one of the most important indicators of comprehensive competence in enterprises .So,business circles of every country in the world view the infor-mation construction as development strategy .The paper takes gold mines for example ,analyzes current situations and development of gold industry ,and elaborates the problems existing and worth paying attention to in information con-struction process of gold industry ,and its effects in the development of regional economy .
