放射治疗(简称放疗)是治疗肿瘤的重要手段,剂量验证是放疗法定的质量保证手段。随着三维调强等放疗技术的不断发展和对病人健康的重视,传统的二维静态等剂量验证手段难以应对新型精确放疗技术所带来的三维复杂分布剂量验证的挑战。基于光学CT的三维凝胶剂量验证技术将凝胶剂量学与光学CT技术相结合,通过凝胶剂量计来固定剂量信息、光学CT扫描重建三维剂量分布,并据此绘制等剂量曲线,提供了一种三维剂量分布的高分辨率快速验证手段。本文对此项技术的背景、理论与研究进展进行了综述。此技术尚处于研究早期,仍有一系列科学问题需进行深入探讨,具有很大的研究和发展潜力。

Radiation therapy is an important method for tumor treatment .Dose verifica-tion is a statutory quality control method for radiation therapy .With the development of radiation therapy technologies such as 3D intensity modulated radiation therapy ,etc . and increased emphasis of patients’ health ,conventional 2D stationary dose verification methods become unequal to the challenges of completed 3D distributions brought by the novel radiation therapy techniques .Optical-CT based 3D dose gel dosimetry combines together gel dosimetry ,w hich utilizes gel dosimeters to save the 3D dose distribution by optical property changes ,and optical-CT to scan the dosimeters ,reconstruct dose tomo-graphic images ,and plot 3D isodose maps .This technique provides a novel method to measure 3D dose distributions quickly ,precisely and accurately .T his paper review s the background ,theories and recent advances .As this technique is still in its early stages with series of scientific issues to address ,it is very prospective in further research and development .
