为改善传统符号型定位方法的不足，实现扰动信息不可靠时扰动源的准确定位，提出一种基于遗传算法的电能质量扰动源定位方法。通过对扰动信号高频分量产生机理的分析，利用小波变换提取高频分量，将高频扰动能量的极性作为扰动方向判别的依据，给出了一种扰动方向判别的通用算法。根据系统拓扑结构及监测点布置情况，建立了扰动源定位优化模型，将扰动源定位问题转化成为0-1整数规划问题，采用遗传算法进行求解。仿真结果表明该方法具有定位准确，容错能力强等优点，为扰动源定位问题提供了一种新的解决思路。
