This paper analyzed the construction characteristics of traditional houses in North and South China,taking the regional culture charac-teristics of traditional houses in North and South as the foothold,explored the differences between the traditional residential buildings in North and south,and made discussion from the new residential buildings inside and outside design,provided reference for the research and develop-ment of residential.
